MAS Digitization

Project Details and Scope of Work

MAS Holdings one of the world’s most recognized designed delivery solution providers, created a material digitization unit that scans the texture and properties of fabrics for its apparel and supply chain. Established in 2020, the unit aims to meet the growing demand for digital materials. Digital Product Creation (DPC) is growing in the apparel industry and highly specific technologies can help businesses innovate, adapt, and absorb adverse impacts during difficult economic times. The scan hub uses Vizoo’s xTex™ material scanners and xTex™ software, while also using measurement devices for physical parameters for Browzwear and Clo3D.

Given the nature of the work, Westgate prioritized integrating the innovative work scope into the corporate interiors. Spanning across 1500 square feet, the space is not large. The workstation area remains sleek and corporate, while the back wall centers a quirky yellow metal compartment that doubles down as a meeting room. This centers the large room that is completely glass on one side, paving the way for natural light.

A miniature conference cubicle houses a bright green cylindrical cupboard that has the LED light-up word ‘Progress’. The breakroom is minimal, with furniture in orange and electric blue tones paired with neutral white walls and wooden detailing. These details help bring character and boldness through colour, creating a rather cool interior design concept.
